10 Best Hoverboards For Kids Reviews & User Buying Guide

(Last Updated On: October 12, 2021)

Best Hoverboards For Kids. Future predicted but so long as it’s working. Although, I’m not able to say that it’s the same as Back to the Future. Hoverboards have been a significant hit in the world of hoverboards. They have replaced electric scooters and segway as a great alternative to transportation, particularly for children and teens, to the point that I’d miss an opportunity for a review of the most effective hoverboard for kids, or as my grandmother refers to them, self-balancing scooters. That is when she’s not talking about them as deadly death machines.

There’s no doubt that hoverboards with no hovering feature have been gaining in popularity, especially when you think that my grandmother, who isn’t even a fan of TV, has heard of the hoverboards. These days many adults are embracing the dangers of the machines to death, and with numerous options, it’s a challenge to pick one that fits your needs being an adult.

I am here to help, and I’m making it my duty to find out the most suitable hoverboards for you. It was surprising to discover the numerous kinds of self-balancing scooters available, like the off-road or all-terrain model and the hoverboard go-kart, which acts as a go-kart and has a wheeled hoverboard. Yeah, I don’t get it either.

Whatever the attachments can be (and there are lots of them), In its most basic design, the hoverboard is an alternative method of transport for children. Therefore, I am asking myself, “Which one is the best hoverboard for kids?”

4.5/5
Type: All-Terrain | Motor: 400W Dual Motor | Wheel: 8.5” Alloy Wheel | Bluetooth Speaker: Yes | Recommend Age: 13+ | Range: 10 Miles | Max Speed: 10mph | Max Weight Limit: 240 lbs | Min Weight Limit: 44 lbs | Size: 27.5″x 8.7″x 9.1″ Weight: 31 lbs | Battery Type: LG | Battery Life: +1 Hour Certificate: UL2272 Certification

It’s not a good idea to use the EPIKGO Self-Balancing Scooter smooth roads. This hoverboard is equipped with sturdy alloy wheels that will give you smooth riding at the maximum speed, even on the most challenging kinds of terrain. The dual-motor and the designed rubber tires make it more efficient than other models, claims EPIKGO. With the price, I’d have to trust them.

In all honesty, this is one of the top batteries I’ve seen in the form of a hoverboard. This hoverboard for kids can climb 15 degrees of slopes and traverse through mud, grass, and sand. With its water resistance of IP56, it isn’t necessary to fret about bringing it outside in the rain or even in the shower when you don’t want to take five steps. For those who have large homes, there’s no need to fret. Thanks to its 10-mile range and nearly two hours of battery life with a single charge, the EPIKGO will take you to the bathroom without difficulties.

The battery is a good example. It is recharged relatively quickly. After about two hours, you’re good to go. Or should be I suggest EpikGO… It’s a good thing. I am looking forward to getting out. The hoverboard also features an indicator for the battery that tells you how much battery is left. I believe that the hand for the battery is the best feature of this hoverboard because it is not like electric scooters in that it’s not usable after it’s died.

It’s not a significant issue for most hoverboards used by kids because they can take them out and transport them back to their homes. Not an alternative for the EPIKGO, and no, it’s not. The company is proud of being one of the largest self-balancing scooters on the market, but that’s not necessarily an advantage. Even I struggled to carry this one; imagine what would happen if the battery on the hoverboard ran out in the night. The kid would be forced to take it off the road.

Don’t worry, as the scooter is certified UL2272, meaning it’s 100% secure, and there’s no risk of fire risks. The EPIKGO scooter is also equipped with bright LED lights at the front, which help it stand out in the darkest of streets. Overall, this is a very safe hoverboard. But, it is essential to be sure to wear your safety equipment.

Best Hoverboard for Older Kids
4.5/5
Type: All-Terrain | Motor: 800-Watt Dual Motor | Wheel: 10.5″ Pneumatic Air-Filled Tires | Bluetooth Speaker: Yes | Recommend Age: N/A | Range: 14 miles | Max Speed: 10 mph | Max Weight Limit: 220 lbs | Min Weight Limit: N/A | Size: 21.4 x 10.3 x 34 inches Weight: 28 lbs | Battery Type: Lithium-Ion Battery | Battery Life: Up to 14 miles Certificate: UL2272 Certification

This is an autonomous hoverboard that appears slightly different from the others. But don’t be concerned; this is an actual hoverboard, regardless of the manufacturer’s claims.

The non-hover hoverboard appears normal, with the saddle extending out from the middle. If you’re a mature man, the saddle stick should sit on your knees. I’m not sure what the purpose of it is. It claims to aid in the balance, but I found it to be a little frustrating.

I have never had any issues with balance on standard hoverboards; however, that’s just my personal preference. You’ll have to make that decision on your own. The Segway miniPRO’s saddle can also be used as a handle even when you’re not on it, which is why there’s this. For children, my son was awed by the ride and even pretended that he was in the spaceship, but I can imagine it being uncomfortable for little kids.

Apart from that, other than that, the Segway miniPRO can carry the maximum weight of 220 pounds, making it ideal for children and adults. The kids’ hoverboard can be taken anywhere thanks to its dual-motor of 800 watts as well as 10.5″ pneumatic tires. It can climb slopes of 15 degrees and turn every bump into an enjoyable ride. The powerful motors of the hoverboard provide the maximum rate of 10 miles/hour, which makes it among the most efficient of this set.

But it seems that the Segway miniPRO is a bit short on its Bluetooth speaker. Despite its cost and the fact that it’s advertised as a hoverboard with Bluetooth, its connectivity is a little shaky. It’s a pity, especially when you consider the app free with the self-balancing scooter using the same Bluetooth connection.

While the hoverboard comes with UL approval, it is missing certain safety features that increase its appeal to youngsters. However, it does have two sets of LED lights, one at the back and one at the front.

In the case of the lithium-ion battery, it can travel approximately 14 miles on one charge and takes about an hour to recharge completely. The battery’s life span is the longest I’ve ever observed, so you can be sure it will last for a long time.
I want to consider taking some time to think about purchasing this item for my kid. This might not be the most appropriate option from this list.

PROS

  • Long range
  • Long battery life
  • Powerful
  • Easy maneuverability

Best Hoverboard For Beginners
4.5/5
Type: Adaptive | Motor: N/A | Wheel: RGB 6.5-inch wheels | Bluetooth Speaker: Yes | Recommend Age: 7+ | Range: 9 miles | Max Speed: N/A | Max Weight Limit: 250 lbs | Min Weight Limit: N/A | Size: 25 x 9.45 x 9.25 inch Weight: 18.9 lbs | Battery Type: Lithium-Ion Battery | Battery Life: Up to 3 hours Certificate: UL2272 Certification

If you’re in search of an affordable hoverboard that all the family members can use, you’re in the right spot. With the weight limit of up to 250lbs, The JOLEGE Self-Balancing Hoverboard can be enjoyed by children or old. The hoverboard for kids is created for novices. It can carry up to 250 pounds, which means even a mature man like me has fun.

The rubber tires are a great source of stability. However, I wouldn’t recommend driving off-road using them. Trust me… I’ve tried. They are, however, ideal for the roads in the city. They also have lights and, in addition to providing an extra layer of protection at night and also look very cool. What? I’m an adult, and I’m not afraid to admit that. The hoverboard for kids is also able to rotate 360 degrees.

And the rubber pedals are slick. The only issue I have is with the LED lights on the front. They’re significantly smaller than other models and aren’t as bright. If I were a father, I’d be worried. However, it could be just me being too cautious about my imaginary children.

In addition, this is a hoverboard that has Bluetooth. This feature is not required and can affect the price. I have used this Bluetooth speaker to play Sabaton as I rode my light-up pink children’s segway around the neighborhood, just for fun. I thought it could be fun, however, to each their own.

This self-balancing scooter that comes with Bluetooth is also immune to solid objects, dust as well as splashing water, so even in the event of rain, you’re able to go for a walk. It also has the UL2272 certification, so you can be sure that it’s as safe as is.

The lithium-ion battery in this hoverboard is quite excellent. A single charge lasts from 2 to 3 hours with a range of 6-9 miles per charge.

The board is cheap, and I would recommend it to every little fellow or following. You’ll have a fantastic time on it, and it’s ideal for those who are just beginning. No matter how old or young I’m sure you’ll have a wonderful time, especially with those beautiful wheels.

PROS

Best Hoverboard Allrounder
4.5/5
Type: Standard | Motor: 300-Watt Dual Motor | Wheel: 6.5″ High Quality Rubber Tires | Bluetooth Speaker: Yes | Recommend Age: N/A | Range: 9 miles | Max Speed: 10 mph | Max Weight Limit: 260 lbs | Min Weight Limit: 44 lbs | Size: N/A Weight: 22 lbs | Battery Type: Lithium-Ion Battery | Battery Life: Under 1 hour Certificate: UL2272 Certification

The SISIGAD Pure Color Series is a subtle low-cost hoverboard that covers the fundamentals. With a maximum weight of 250 pounds, it can handle any adult or child that might be thrown it’s way.

The hoverboard comes in a couple of mono colors and a few variations–including a “fun” version and an off-road one. N my humble opinion, the standard pure color version works best. Any way you choose, you’ll receive an excellent hoverboard that self-balances technology perfect for novices.

The hoverboard for children has two-watt motors and a top rate of 10 miles/hour. However, the range is just 9 miles. This is because the battery that isn’t long-lasting. While the battery is quite disappointing as it only lasts for an hour and takes about 5 hours to recharge, I believe it’s an excellent choice for cruising around in the local area.

There’s no need to worry about the battery running in the middle of nowhere since the hoverboard will inform you of the battery’s level by displaying the tiny LED light visible on the surface. Also, you don’t need to be concerned about rain or mud, either. Self-balancing scooters are water-resistant, and the rubber tires can travel over tiny obstacles such as grass, dirt, and gravel.

If you’re also a lover of playing Sabaton music on your hoverboard, you’re fortunate. The model above has quite a decent Bluetooth speaker that can be connected to your smartphone and play whatever you’d like.

In terms of security, this self-balance scooter that comes with Bluetooth is what you’d think of. It features shiny wheels, as well as two LED headlights, even though they’re a little small. The SISIGAD also features bright LED lights that sit on top of the two wheels, which means that Little Jimmy is secure even at night. Of course, the board is equipped with UL certification and non-slip footpads.

In the end, I believe this is a fantastic hoverboard for novices. If you’ve never used an electric motorbike before, I’d highly suggest this to be your first. If you are not sure, you could look at alternatives on this review of a hoverboard.

PROS

  • Great for beginners
  • Affordable
  • Safe
  • Bright LED lights

CONS

  • Disappointing battery
Best Hoverboard for Leisurely Rides
4.5/5
Type: Standard | Motor: 250-Watt Dual Motor | Wheel: 6.5″ Solid Rubber | Bluetooth Speaker: No | Recommend Age: N/A | Range: 11 miles | Max Speed: 8 mph | Max Weight Limit: 220 lbs | Min Weight Limit: 45 lbs | Size: 8 x 24 x 7.5 inches Weight: 24 lbs | Battery Type: Lithium-Ion Battery | Battery Life: N/A Certificate: UL2272 Certification

In addition to the fact that it has a swag title, the company claims that their hoverboard was the very first to get the UL2272 certification. Judging by the number of safety features that this self-balancing hoverboard comes with, I’m inclined to believe them.

The Swagtron Swagboard – I love the name–can support a maximum weight of 220 pounds, which is perfect for adults and children alike. The board also comes with solid rubber tires that can be climbed up to a 30-degree angle. However, I have to admit that it stumbles somewhat about the motors’ watts. It does have an impressive range of 7-11 miles on one charge, and the battery takes only one hour to recharge fully. The motors are 250 watts.

However, they are a bit disappointed. When it is at its peak, the self-balancing hoverboard could attain speeds that are 8 miles an hour, but you’ll notice that most of the time, even that may be a bit challenging. There’s also the argument that speed limits are more suitable for children, but he’ll be skeptical when your nephew is my age. The kid’s an avid racer.

In terms of security features, this stylish kids ‘ segway is hard to one. There are two modes: a learning mode and a regular mode. The latter restricts your maximum speed until you’ve mastered the technique of hoverboarding. Of course, it is UL-certified, but it also features something known as the “Sentry Shield Battery,” which guards and monitors the battery. As per the company, this model has survived a crash of 10 tons test.

You know, if suddenly you see five elephants on your hoverboard, you won’t expect that battery to explode… would you? In addition, the Swagboard comes with the “Safe Stop Technology.” This feature is activated when you suddenly discover yourself in the middle of nowhere. The electric scooter will stop and come to a steady stop so that you are confident that your child is safe regardless of what happens in the situation. The kids’ hoverboard features a couple of small LED headlights so that you’ll be visible at night.

At the final point, I’d suggest this hoverboard to parents who are searching for an additional layer of security for their children. Make sure to bring your safety equipment, particularly at night.

PROS

  • Super safe
  • Amazing battery
  • Fast charging time
  • Great range

CONS

  • Slow speed
  • Small led lights
Best Hoverboard with Bluetooth
4.5/5
Type: Standard | Motor: N/A | Wheel: 6.5 Inches Non-Pneumatic Solid Tires | Bluetooth Speaker: Yes |  Recommend Age: N/A | Range: 4.3 miles | Max Speed: 7.5 mph | Max Weight Limit: 220 lbs | Min Weight Limit: 44 lbs | Size: 23.54 x 7.02 x 7.59 inch Weight: 17.64 lbs | Battery Type: Lithium-Ion Battery | Battery Life: N/A Certificate: UL2272 Certification

Apart from being an elegant style, this is the most stylish hoverboard that has Bluetooth available. I’m drawn to the black version, but it will be the sleekest hoverboard you own regardless of which color you pick. It’s even sexier than the Swagboard.

The electric scooter can handle the weight limit of 220 pounds. It also has acceleration sensors, and of course, self-balancing technology. Its top speed isn’t the most efficient at 7.5 millimeters per hour. It’s among the slowest in this hoverboard review.

The Rhythmed hoverboard comes with a maximum distance that is 4.3 miles per recharge for its lithium-ion batteries, which is possibly the lowest distance I’ve seen on a children’s segway. This isn’t necessarily a negative thing. A slower speed means it’s more secure for more minor children. It’s also the ideal hoverboard for children who are six years old or even five-year-olds.

But, where this hoverboard shines is in its incredible Bluetooth speaker. It is equipped with the most recent 4.2 Bluetooth Technology, which brings you a stunning stereo sound. Trust me when I say that the neighbors are mad at me right now. This isn’t the only thing that’s amazing about it.

The Rhythmed hoverboard’s LED lights alter depending on the volume of music, meaning you’ll enjoy your private disco at home. Two LED lights are on the headlights, as well as LED wheels. All of them are more bright than my next which means you’ll be secure at night.

In addition, it is a hoverboard equipped with Bluetooth equipped with all the security features that are required. It’s waterproof and has UL certification. It also has non-slip silicone footpads to provide extra security. However, I always suggest wearing safety gear regardless of the situation.

Who would I suggest this hoverboard that has Bluetooth to? If you’re seeking a dance machine that can move you around the neighborhood, take a look at this. The Bluetooth speaker and the LED lights are ideal for people who love to display their best; however, if you’re seeking the best hoverboard for children, I can’t recommend this model because of its small range and slow speed.

PROS

  • Great for younger kids
  • Safe
  • Amazing bluetooth speaker

CONS

  • Slow speed
  • Short range
Best Budget Hoverboard
4.5/5
Type: Standard | Motor: N/A | Wheel: 6.5” Hard Rubber Tires | Bluetooth Speaker: Yes | Recommend Age: N/A | Range: 7.5 miles | Max Speed: 7.5 mph | Max Weight Limit: 165 lbs | Min Weight Limit: 40 lbs | Size: 26.24 x 10.24 x 9 inches Weight: 17 lbs | Battery Type: Lithium-Ion Battery | Battery Life: 2 hours Certificate: UL2272 Certification

The Q2-C could be described as the bigger sister to the Rhythmed hoverboard. While the two differ, neither is superior to the other, and both are great for children younger than.

I believe this TOMOLOO hoverboard is a superior design over that of the Rhythmed one. The company claims that it was an inspiration from the Kylin fire Chinese mythology. It is said to represent unstoppable aggression and a playful spirit. I’m not sure how fast this particular model is, as it can have a top rate of 7.5 miles per hour. It’s just like its brethren.

However, in contrast to its predecessor, the Rhythmed board, this model comes with a long-distance that is 7.5 miles. When you consider the lithium-ion battery that can last as long as 2 hours on one recharge, your range increases by 15 miles on a single charge; naturally, the content could be a little different depending on a myriad of variables. But, witnessing the expansion of range makes me happy. I’ve always wanted to utilize this word.

The electric scooter can handle up to about 165 pounds. Its LED lights alter with volume. This means that people over 18 won’t get to feel the excitement from the fifteen miles on a day. But they will get to take advantage of the Bluetooth speaker, which, in my opinion, can make you feel as if you’re a wild spirit. Similar to its Rhythmed board, the new features the most recent Bluetooth technology.

The LED headlights are more compact; however, nothing that is too terrible. Also, there is an indicator for the battery located just below you when you get onto your electric bike. The only issue I can conclude is that charging takes approximately 3.5-4 hours, and that’s not ideal, particularly if you have hyperactive children who only like to play on their hoverboard.

In addition, it is among the most secure self-balancing scooters that use Bluetooth. Of course, it comes with the UL safety certification along with the fantastic self-balancing technology, as well as a sophisticated battery management system that guards against overheating and other such.

I would say this is the ideal hoverboard for kids five years old. It is equipped with excellent safety features, and it offers an enjoyable ride as well as it’s a reasonable price. The low-cost hoverboard makes a great option; however, it’s not the top.

PROS

  • Super safe
  • Long battery life
  • Long range
  • Amazing Bluetooth speaker

CONS

  • Long charging time
  • Small LED headlights
Best Hoverboard Battery Life
4.5/5
Type: All-Terrain| Motor: 300 Watt Dual | Wheel: 6.5″ All-Terrain Rubber Tires | Bluetooth Speaker: No | Recommend Age: 13+ | Range: 7 miles | Max Speed: 7 mph | Max Weight Limit: 220 lbs | Min Weight Limit: N/A | Size: 25 x 9 x 8.5 inches Weight: 16.15 lbs | Battery Type: Lithium-Ion Battery | Battery Life: 2 days Certificate: UL2272 Certification

This is a hoverboard made for those who are adventurous. This Jetson Aero can go anywhere and last for quite a while. The self-balancing scooter comes with two 6.5 inches of all-terrain rubber tires that can travel off-road in the mud, rocks, and even gravel.

The 300-watt dual motor makes it feel like you’re going faster than you are. If your child loves to explore, then your child will be awed by this model. Additionally, you don’t have to be concerned about them traveling into the distance since they only have seven miles of range and a maximum speed of seven mph. In this review, I’ve been harsh with those who have a small distance and a slower pace, but I have to recognize that that’s necessarily a negative thing.

The most remarkable feature of this electric scooter could be its lithium-ion battery. This Jeston Aero will inevitably last you for a long time, possibly with up to 2 days of one charge, to be exact–no, you’re not misreading the description. The indicator for the battery will notify you when it’s time for off, but the charge time is just longer than the battery’s lifespan–not necessarily, but it will be used for as long as 7 hours, which means you’ll need to allow it to charge at the night to recharge.

The kids’ hoverboard comes with two bright LED headlights, and some bright LED wheels, but the board does not have a Bluetooth speaker that goes with the board. These LEDs are bright enough to make sure you’re in the dark.

This electric vehicle is certified by UL and comes with non-slip footpads. The self-balancing system will make sure that you don’t crash onto your back.

This is a fantastic hoverboard for the adventurous despite its limited range and slow speed. I will be a bit disappointed, but especially when it comes to a board designed for exploration.

PROS

  • Safe
  • All-terrain rubber tires
  • Truly amazing battery life

CONS

  • Extremely long charging time
Best Hoverboard Battery Life
4.5/5
Type: Off-Road| Motor: 350 Watt Dual | Wheel: 8.5 Inch Solid Tires | Bluetooth Speaker: Yes | Recommend Age: N/A | Range: 9.5 miles | Max Speed: 9.95 mph | Max Weight Limit: 265 lbs | Min Weight Limit: N/A | Size: 29.6 Inch x 9.9 Inch x 8.8 Inch | Weight: 30.8 lbs | Battery Type: Lithium-Ion Battery | Battery Life: N/A Certificate: UL2272 Certification

This is the second-best hoverboard for children, and I’m not going to lie. This scooter is very stable and self-balancing.

This hoverboard comes with 8.5-inch solid tires. It also has two 350-watt motors. You will have a smooth ride no matter what terrain you are in, whether gravel, rock, dirt, or otherwise. It is made of metal and aluminum and can support a maximum weight of 265 pounds. The scooter can also be used to climb at a 30-degree angle.

The hoverboard can travel up to 9.5 miles with a single charge and reaches speeds of 9.95 mph. It takes approximately 1 to 2 hours for the lithium-ion battery to charge fully. An electric scooter comes with a pro-Bluetooth speaker. You can blast Sabaton in the woods or Miley Cyrus on the other end. These days, what do children like?

This hoverboard with Bluetooth also has a battery indicator and bright LED lights that illuminate in the dark.

It also has UL certification and water resistance. It does not have the same safety features as other hoverboards. This one is for an older audience. Always wear safety gear.

Who would I recommend this to? This hoverboard would work best for teens who enjoy going off-road. This doesn’t mean the hoverboard cannot be used on a well-paved street. You can use it at home, but you won’t be able to take full advantage of its capabilities.

PROS

  • Powerful
  • Fast charging time
  • Durable

CONS

  • Lacking safety features
  • Heavy
Best Hoverboard for Kids
4.5/5
Type: Standard  | Motor: Silent, 350W Dual-Hub Motors | Wheel: N/A | Bluetooth Speaker: Yes | Recommend Age: 8+ | Range: 8 miles | Max Speed: 8mph | Max Weight Limit: 220 lbs | Min Weight Limit: N/A | Size: N/A Weight: 19.5 lbs | Battery Type: Lithium-Ion Battery | Battery Life: Up to 1 hour Certificate: UL2272 Certification

Razer, one of the most respected gaming mice manufacturers, is not to be confused. Razor is the manufacturer of the Hovertrax 2.0 hoverboard. They are quickly becoming one of America’s top brands. This is a familiar pattern, but I digress. The Hovertrax 2.0 is my favorite hoverboard for children.

This hoverboard is not designed for speed or off-road adventures. The best hoverboard for kids has silent dual motors with a top speed of 8 mph and a range of 8 miles on a hoverboard designed for children aged eight or older.
It’s not the fastest, but it’s also not the slowest. The 350-watt motors provide a smooth and quiet ride.

The Razor hoverboard can support a maximum weight of up to 220 pounds. However, I’m not sure why an adult would want it as it was designed for children.
Its safety features are also a critical factor in the Razor Segway’s appeal to a younger audience. The board is certified UL2272, but Razor’s EverBalance technology makes it easy to mount and provides a smooth ride.

Non-slip rubber footpads are also included on the hoverboard, adding a layer of safety. There is also a training mode that limits the maximum speed to make it easier for beginners. Two LED headlights are located on the front of the self-balancing scooter, making it an excellent hoverboard for night riding. Just remember to bring your safety gear.

A single charge of lithium-ion batteries can last for approximately 60 minutes. There is an indicator on the battery to tell you when it is low. You can replace the battery with an additional one if it runs out while you are outside. It would generally be difficult to change the batteries while on the move, but Razor makes it easy.

Did I mention that the Razor hoverboard’s battery is also UL2271-certified? This hoverboard is one of the safest on the market, with two UL certifications.

PROS

  • Super safe
  • Training mode
  • Silent
  • Affordable

CONS

  • Limited battery

Buyer’s Guide

Safety

Safety is paramount when it comes to hoverboards. Only manufacturers that have passed various safety tests, including mechanical, electronic, and environmental, are eligible for the UL2272. There is a system that verifies manufacturers are meeting specific standards. The certificate that is attached to these standards may have been seen in this hoverboard review. It is not a good idea to buy a self-balancing device that doesn’t have this certificate. Safety nets on hoverboards go beyond the UL2272. Razor Hoverboards have additional safety features, such as the certificate.

Even though I don’t recommend hoverboarding at night, most hoverboards come with some LED lights. This is enough to make you visible in the dark. Sometimes the LED headlights may not be bright enough or too small. If this is the case, I recommend staying at home or wearing a light-up vest if you go out.

Here’s my next point. No matter how safe hoverboards may appear, it is essential always to wear safety gear, such as your helmet, wrist guards, and elbow pads. To avoid injury, your helmet must sit comfortably on your head. It’s likely that you will fall, even though it hurts to admit it. It is usual for kids, especially if they are young. Your safety gear will ensure that they are as safe as possible when they fall.

Even for kids, hoverboards can be challenging to ride at first, so you must practice, practice, and practice in a controlled environment–preferably at home. They are more challenging than they appear. My first attempt at a hoverboard was a failure. I had to kiss the ground at least 12 times before I got it right. Practice is key.

This is probably not something I have to say, but please don’t cross the road. Hoverboards are not allowed on roads where cars are going at 100 mph. Some places make it illegal to use a self-balancing scooter on public roads. I now want to get to the point: OBEY THE LAW.

Hoverboards are subject to strict regulations depending on where you live. Keep up-to-date with local laws and use sidewalks, bikes, and parks.

It would help if you always rode at the speed of your hoverboard and not faster than it. You are not Speedy Gonzales, sorry. Remember that hoverboards can overheat, so leave them alone and run as fast as possible. Lithium-ion batteries, which are unstable by nature, can cause it to overheat, which is not good. It shouldn’t overheat if you adhere to all safety precautions. Pay attention to the warnings provided by the manufacturer and slow down.

Do not exceed the weight limit. Although this hoverboard review was written for children, I suspect that some adults may be reading it and wondering if they should buy one. As long as you do not exceed the weight limit, I am okay with that. This is why it’s called a limit.
